Farewell xx

OOOhhh Hello there again! ^.^ It's been a while since I've been on here huh? This year has ben SO busy for me. New things are happening, new adventures, new classes, new schedules... I haven't had the least bit of time to post on my blog. So here is my farewell to all my lovely, amazing subscribers, along with my final pieces of advice.

Just say YES! :)
This is an excerpt from http://www.zoella.co.uk
Zoella has helped me SO much and I think you should all read what she has to say, about just saying yes.

How often do you turn things down or shy away from doing things a little out of your comfort zone? How often do you say NO? Do I want to live my life turning things down and missing out on so many opportunities just because it scares me a bit? No, and neither do you. I would rather do more things, that I can look back on and think "I'm so glad I did that" than think "I really wish I'd done that". I don't want to ever be left with that awful question floating around in my head of "what if?". There may be times when you do panic, or you do get in a flap about something, but if you know that ultimately you're going to be okay, at least you can say you did it, or you tried it, and at least you won't be left thinking "what if?".  I have started to say YES to things I'd never normally say yes to. I'm not saying yes to absolutely everything, but i'm making a conscious effort to agree to more things.

You get ONE life (unless of course you are a feline), one chance to do anything and everything you want. Do not let something like this control your decisions or ruin experiences for you. The same goes for people. Don't let people ruin things for you, or control your behaviours or your life choices.

It's YOUR life. Share it with others but don't let anyone, or anything take over the control you have.

Say YES. Make it your mission, to do things you'd never normally do, go places you'd never normally go, meet people you'd never normally meet. How can you make memories, and take new paths in life if you turn everything down?

Stop worrying about what others think about you. You've heard this advice millions of times from your mom, family, friends... almost everyone! Seriously, stop. We are who we are, not what everyone else wants us to be. I see too many girls trying to "fit in" by dressing the same, and not trying anything different. Why? You only live once (yes I just said YOLO) so why live it trying to be like everybody else? If you like something that's completely crazy and unique, just go for it! If you're worried about people judging you, it's because they don't have the confidence that you do! You can pull off any look with confidence. With confidence, you can rock even the craziest pants in the world. Confidence is the reason I can pair neon pink pants with a kitty ear headband.

If you like something, wear it. Who cares what everyone else thinks. It's about what makes YOU happy. It's not about what they think, it's about what YOU think.

Next piece of advice: Laziness is not an excuse. "I just don't have time to get ready in the morning with school and works, etc." It takes the same amount of time to put on sweats as it does to pop on a cute outfit. Do you think Karl ever says “I’m too busy/tired to look like Karl today?” (http://www.thesartorialist.com/) Some people ask me how in the world i have time in the morning to come up with the outfits I wear. The answer: Simple wake up in the morning and pop on whatever I feel like wearing. I haven't resorted to sweats once, even when I'm running late. In fact, I don't even OWN a pair of sweats lol. I'm not saying you should look like you just got off the Miu Miu runway, but wear whatever is cute to YOU. And for those of you in school, dressing better allows you to perform better throughout the day anyway! ^.^

I've read a lot of stories on tumblr/twitter etc. about how some girls have a completely different style than what they wear on a daily basis. Their reasons are because of self-consciousness, and money. We've talked about self-consciousness already, but now comes the money issue.

At school the other day I was complimented  on my outfit, and the dialogue went something like
"That's such a cute outfit!"
"Thanks!"
"I could never pull off something like that, let alone afford it."

#1- You actually could pull off an outfit like this if you cared less about what people thought about you.
#2- My entire outfit was bought from Forever 21.

People think that to look cute you have to buy from expensive brands and blah blah blah. You really don't! Half my closet is H&M (as you guys know I LOVE H&M) and Forever 21. I've talked about this before, but if you look for the right pieces (and that's stuff that YOU are attracted to, not something you saw 5 other girls wearing at school so you need to get it to fit in, but good quality items.) you can look just as couture as Karlie Kloss on the runway.

Dress as if nobody's watching. (or judging)

I've realized that I've discovered amazing things (stores, people, music, etc.) by dressing for me. If I were to name a few; Rapsodia, Sfera, Zara, Wild Fox... etc. As well as icons I look up to; Cara Delevingne, Zoella, Little Mix... etc. Even the music I've found relates! Try giving yourself a go at dressing the way you want, and you'll discover so many things that define who YOU are, and ultimately will lead you to having a happier, confident life. ^.^ (Plus, who doesn't like to dress up for the day anyway?)

Just Say YES!

I hope that this final message to all my lovely followers will inspire you to break out of the shell you've been hiding in, and let the inner you SHINE! I'm hoping to start a new blog soon where I can post more often and stay in touch with all of you. For now this is my farewell from Fashion Mouse, La Blue Girl, and Bijoux et Bisoux. I love you all, and I will be back soon, I promise! ^.^ (Email me if you want to stay in touch for when I have my new blog up!) Until next time my little fashionistas!

Prada

<3 Met a Fan!! <3

Wearing:

Zara Dress
Prada Chandelier Heels
My own headband

My classy look for you all! What better color of peach can there be for a dress like this? I am a huge fan of these dresses, and I would definitely recommend this outfit for a special dinner or party! One of the most important things about these dresses, is that you can't over accessorize them. The dress is the main attraction, and a simple bracelet or a ring or headband like I have are perfect! And lets not forget an amazing pair of heels! The heels sparkle like no other! They are just simply incredible, there isn't another word to describe them. (Aaand.. they also happen to be my mothers so this is about the only time she would ever let me touch them). I love that they are so fragile and soft looking and give such a feminine touch to any Cinderella look like this! <3 That's it exactly! they are Cinderella heels and every girl must have her pair of Cinderella heels to wear to make an unforgettable entrance, and make just an unforgettable departure.

I also got to meet a little fan!! She came outside while we were taking pictures and loved my outfit! She looked so adorable I couldn't resist not taking a photo with her, so here is my cutest fan ever! :) And to all of my followers/viewers, you guys are truly amazing and I am so thankful for your support and viewings! To everyone in France, Switzerland, Australia, New Zeland (im not kidding guys! you are from all over the place!<3) etc, you guys help inspire my blog every day!

Stay Classy xx

Graffiti

Wearing:
Cotton Candy Blouse
Husslen Chalayan Skirt
Miss Grant Sandals
Forever 21 rings

Another top I found at the cute little shop above the cafe. I adore this blouse because of how uniquely unique it is! It is also a great top to have because of the "prints" trend, which I recommend all of you get a print top and bottom because they are going to be very in-style this year, along with the color purple and head to toe color suits. It's also got a collar trend too! I love the top because you can really mix it up with anything! It's ideal for jeans and skirts because it gives it that extra "umph" you could be missing in a basic outfit. I think it's great, nay, essential to have a wild top you can use to spice up a day where you don't know what to wear but jeans and a t-shirt. A printed top can give you a quick and easy look.

School is just around the corner... literally, but this year my blogger resolution is to keep up with my posts! And of course give you all new looks every time! :) Good Luck this year mademoiselles!

La Cucaracha

Wearing:

Raximbat Shirt
Mika Shoes
Lucky Brand Shorts

La Cucaracha, La Cucaracha, Ya No Puede Caminar...

I was so happy to hear all the feedback I got from my last post! It really overjoys me to read about how many of you can relate to wanting to do something different but being scared to because of what others might think. You're breaking free! :) In my opinion, I think you guys will be very happy to be able to show off who you really are. One of my friends has a pair of Prada Shoes she absolutely loves, and she had them for a while in the box in her closet. She was afraid to wear them (PRADA SHOES!?) because she thought it was too much for what everyone usually wore. Hello!! If any of you have a pair of Prada shoes in your closet, you better be wearing them! Remember, Be Yourself. I can't even explain how many different styles of clothes I wear. I can't stick to one style because there are too many things out there that are so my style, which is like i like to call it "New York." Because there are so many different styles and looks I want to try. That's why my blog crosses such a vast verizon of styles, because I can never decide what I want to stick with! :) I can't wait to hear from you all and even send me pics of Your Personal Style! to my email or on the Bijoux and Bisoux Facebook page!! Thank you all!!

The Moral Of the Story Is: Be yourself. Cause you were Born That Way.

Red

Wearing::
H&M white "hi lo" top
H&M Striped Maxi (rolled up to make a short pencil skirt)
Marni Red Wedges
Straw Fedora

Red, red, and more red today! This outfit was created in a mix of dancing to Lady Gaga and not really knowing what I was putting on. But oh how I love it! This is by far one of my favorite outfits of the year. And I've finally found out how to use my Fedora from Cuba! This was a really fun summer look to me, I was inspired by the skirt which I haven't worn in FOREVER, the last and only time I wore it was in a post way back when I created the blog called "Just Do It (H&M)." Red is an occurring color in my summer wardrobe because it feels fun and fresh to me, and it is also a very energizing color which is great for summer activities! And who could forget the red lipstick? :)

H&M Black Patent Leather Shorts

Me-
Urban Outfitters Lace Dress

I know... you guys have probably been wondering why I haven't been on here for EVER! There's always a period of time where I have to leave my blog because of how hectic my life gets at the end of the year.. I balance AP European History, Honors English and Theatre leaving me with late nights and no time for anything else. Of course I will make everything up to you all because I have a collection of outfits to share with you! My first way to kick off the summer was hanging out with my best friends Natalie and Audrey. Whenever we're over at my house it's dress up time! :) So we went kind of crazy trying on billions of different outfits and ended up becoming little Coco Chanel girls.

Bicycle

Wearing::
Forever 21 Dress
H&M Crop Faux Leather Jacket
My Own Hat
Purse given as a Gift

I LOVE THIS DRESS. I can't even explain how much I do! I had seen the dress in a Urban Outfitters catalogue and fell in deep love with it... literally. I finally got it for Christmas though! I love that it's sheer on the bottom because it adds a different kind of effect to it than if it were just plain black. I paired it with  regular white sneakers because I made it look more casual for school and such. Again I used this infamous hat :) Grandmas are just the best! And I got this cute little bag from my friend for X-Mas as well! I added it to the look since it was a lighter color, and it contrasted really well with the black jacket and skirt. I feel like leather can literally go with anything, you can add it to any outfit and complete it... except maybe with leather pants.

Boyfriend Jeans

Wearing::
Current Elliot Boyfriend Jeans
Splendid Top
Abercrombie & Fitch Belt
Mika Shoes
Tous Ring

Cool, Casual, Comfy Boyfriend jeans! I just got these pants yesterday and I have fallen in love with them! They have this washed and worn out look and color, and they are also very vintage-y. The pants aren't exactly just blue jeans blue, they have a sort of light tan color mixed in with them. They are actually 1 size too big, but strangely enough, they are supposed to be! You can get them in your size so that they look sort of like straight legs, but if you get them a size bigger they have a whole different look. It actually says on the tag that you should get them a size bigger for a more vintage feel. I paired them with this oversized tee because the look is relaxed. And I also used my new favorite shoes from Mika that I just cant seem to get enough of these days!
