Geek Technique

Wearing::

White Dress Blouse:: H&M
Dark Green Sweater:: Bershka
White Skirt:: Hussein Chalayan
Vintage Givenchey Earrings
Shoes:: Mika
Ring:: Forever 21

Today was the first day of school! So I thought I would get my inner scholar out. I returned to school after a wonderful summer to AP and Honors classes, Geometry, and all that "fun stuff." Yay...
I LOVE these earrings so much! I went crazy when my mom showed them to me! My mom has this box  filled with vintage jewelry. Some of it is really crazy! There are gold chains with huge gold amulets hanging from them! And then there are other things like these earrings. (Oh and if you haven't noticed, my glasses are the beautiful couture movie theatre 3D glasses with the lenses popped out.) I think that every girl should own a pouffy white skirt. I goes with everything and it can be worn during summer and winter. And guess what? 3 more weeks till braces come off! It's a rather exciting event!

Turban

Wearing::

Shirt:: Sfera
Skirt:: Sfera
Turban(scarf):: Vintage

Turbans have become one of my new favorite things next to colored jeans. I was out and about in 92 degree weather and I was so hot! Unfortunately I didn't have a hair tie, but I was wearing this scarf so I decided to make use of it and wrap it on my head as a turban. (It's funny that about 95% of the looks I create are by accident.) Another thing that I went crazy over was the shirt with the high neck line. They were actually the first thing that caught my eye in the store and I could not get away from them! I just love the classy, vintage feel those type of shirts have. I also have some exciting news! I will be getting my braces off in 4 weeks! Looking forward to it!

Old time pleated

GAP blouse, H&M pouch, American Apparel Skirt.

HELLO AGAIN! It's been a while since my last post, so I'll give you a little synopsis on what i've been up to! I have been so busy with school and the play these days that I have barely had time to take ANY pictures! (Thank god for spring break!) I got to go to Sac. yesterday where I took lots of pictures at "Old Town" which was the perfect scenery to go with my skirt! Speaking of the skirt... is it not just so amazing? Its so fun to play around with too! American Apparel has now become one of my favorite stores. They sale many great basic pieces but once in a while you find things like this...

50's and 60's

I made the school musical! woohoo!! The musical we are doing is "Bye Bye Birdie" and my part is the Sad Girl... incase you haven't see the musical.. heres my part:

Im so excited to learn the dance choreography! I'm really starting to like all this 50's-60's stuff, and not to mention.. the clothes!

The style is so great because it's so fun and young! I love how there were so many colors, pouffy dresses, and the pants that go all the way up to the waist! I love the styles of the dresses. They were all the same style but they all had different colors and prints, it was like a stylish "tacky" thing. My favorite thing had to be the hair! Tight buns with super curly bangs, and ribbons around the head! Someday I will go to school in a hairstyle like those.. just as soon as I learn how to style it like that! Well, Bye Bye Birdies!

SF adventure! part 2....

    Shopping! You can't miss out on shopping in San Fran! We went to Barney's, H&M, All Saints,
    Desigual, and lot's of little boutiques! First we went to Union Square and found the most amazing
    store! ALL SAINTS. The clothes were absolutely cute in so many ways, they had the prettiest dresses
    there and you couldn't help not to try things on! Then we went vintage shopping. In the first picture,
    I was at the vintage store "Torso." They had the coolest clothes! (That was my favorite vintage shop
    that we went to.) After, we went to Haight Street to look at more vintage shops like "La Rosa" and
   "Decades of Fashion" which had the funniest things! It was like walking into a big costume closet!
    This was my first time vintage shopping, and I'm really glad I tried it out! It was a very fun
    experience!
