Late for Tea!

Wearing::

Urban Outfitters White Lace Dress
Black Hair Ribbon
Antique Tea Cup & Saucer

"You're late for tea!" My all time favorite Disney film has to be Alice in Wonderland! I love Alice and everything about Wonderland, so I based my look off of Alice! I tried to be more antique with her look by using the lace dress which I absolutely love because of it being antique looking. I used a really cute cat eyeliner look also to add more to the effect of Alice. I also got creative with Spencer's birthday cake and made him the Cheshire Cat which took me all morning to perfect! Talk about the most amazing birthday cake ever?

Marilyn Monroe Madness!

Oh my goodness bloggers! I am so sorry I haven't been on top of my blogging lately! I have been so busy with so many things going on at school, but I will definitely make it up to you during the summer!

So a couple weeks ago I went to a awards ceremony for all the cast from the musical! The theme of the party was "Old Hollywood Glamour," which is like Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, etc., and incase you haven't guessed, I dressed up like Marilyn Monroe!

Thrift Store Dress and Shoes, Antique Gloves, Styles Bracelet.

Let me get this straight... no, I did not cut my hair (my mom would NEVER let me!) Half of my hair was braided and tucked in, and the rest was curled and tucked under. This look was so fun to create! It was a challenge too because I had never dressed "Old Hollywood" before. This dress was the first one I saw in the store and I knew it was just perfect! Then I found the gloves laying around in a bucket of hats and the the shoes off in the far corner in the store, and I had created this perfect vintage glamour look! I was actually inspired by Taylor Swift in her "Mean" music video for the hair, dress, AND makeup! So thank you Miss. Swift! I never actually shop in thrift/antique stores so this was a really fun experience for me! You would be surprised at what you can find laying around!

Old time pleated

GAP blouse, H&M pouch, American Apparel Skirt.

HELLO AGAIN! It's been a while since my last post, so I'll give you a little synopsis on what i've been up to! I have been so busy with school and the play these days that I have barely had time to take ANY pictures! (Thank god for spring break!) I got to go to Sac. yesterday where I took lots of pictures at "Old Town" which was the perfect scenery to go with my skirt! Speaking of the skirt... is it not just so amazing? Its so fun to play around with too! American Apparel has now become one of my favorite stores. They sale many great basic pieces but once in a while you find things like this...

SF adventure! part 2....

Shopping! You can't miss out on shopping in San Fran! We went to Barney's, H&M, All Saints,
Desigual, and lot's of little boutiques! First we went to Union Square and found the most amazing
store! ALL SAINTS. The clothes were absolutely cute in so many ways, they had the prettiest dresses
there and you couldn't help not to try things on! Then we went vintage shopping. In the first picture,
I was at the vintage store "Torso." They had the coolest clothes! (That was my favorite vintage shop
that we went to.) After, we went to Haight Street to look at more vintage shops like "La Rosa" and
"Decades of Fashion" which had the funniest things! It was like walking into a big costume closet!
This was my first time vintage shopping, and I'm really glad I tried it out! It was a very fun
    experience!
